This project introduces a new primary suite, expanding the home’s footprint to improve both function and flow. The bedroom anchors the addition, while a reconfiguration of the interior space allowed the laundry to be relocated to the main level and created a more generous shared bathroom for the clients’ two daughters. Externally, cement board panels and a metal reglet detail give the addition a clean, modern presence that complements the simple ranch character of the existing home. A concealed gutter system further reinforces the design, maintaining crisp rooflines and uninterrupted eaves.
